Maintenance Technician
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that the company's buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position bridges daily operational needs with long-term facility planning, coordinating maintenance activities, vendor services, and internal requests to keep the workplace running smoothly. The Facilities Coordinator will oversee one part-time employee onsite and will be responsible for coordinating lawn care, snow removal, machinery maintenance, and building maintenance with necessary vendors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance activities and vendor services.
- Ensure buildings, equipment, and grounds are safe and well-maintained.
- Performing repairs on industrial equipment
- Manage lawn care and snow removal services.
- Handle machinery and building maintenance requirements.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- 2+ years of Facility and Industrial Maintenance experience
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Experience performing minor electrical repairs on industrial equipment
- Preventive maintenance
Work Environment
Traditional manufacturing environment with non-temperature controlled conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
