Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you ensure members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You work on your feet, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a positive attitude to give members a great experience.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles, and operating floor scrubbers.
• Respond to spills, dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous material handling, and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate chemicals, store properly, and order replenishment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates, performing maintenance as necessary.
