Maintenance Assistant – Full-Time Monday–Friday Schedule | On-Call Rotation Required $18.00–$20.00/hour Imboden Creek Senior Living and Rehabilitation Decatur, Illinois Start Your Summer With a Career That Keeps Our Community Running Smoothly Imboden Creek Senior Living and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Located in Decatur, Illinois, our skilled nursing community provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services in a supportive environment where residents and staff feel valued every day.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in hands-on work and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility. This role is essential in supporting resident safety, comfort, and the overall appearance of our community.

What We Offer Competitive Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour based on experience

401(k) Retirement Plan And More Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the facility
Complete painting, drywall repair, and general building upkeep
Troubleshoot and assist with repairs of facility equipment and systems
Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the building and grounds
Assist with seasonal outdoor maintenance and improvement projects
Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner
Support inspections and preventative maintenance schedules
Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
Previous maintenance or general repair experience preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall repair
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Dependable, organized, and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a healthcare environment around residents, staff, and visitors
Must pass background check and drug screening
