Groundskeeper

Description

Stonemark Management, a national multi‑family management company, is seeking a highly motivated, full‑time Groundskeeper. The role requires working independently, outdoors in all weather, and performing physically demanding work.

Responsible for maintaining the community grounds in an attractive condition; keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant apartments, sidewalks, and alleyways clean and safe.

• Picks up litter on grounds and waters lawns, shrubs and flowers as needed.
• Sprays insecticides as required.
• Maintains watering and drainage systems.
• Assists in inventory control and upkeep of all grounds equipment and supplies.
• Assists with emergency maintenance and make‑readies.
• Clears hallways, parking areas, sidewalks, and alleyways.
• Assists with other types of maintenance when necessary.

One year of experience as a groundskeeper preferred but not required. General property maintenance skills (painting, pressure washing, trash pick‑up, etc.) preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., perform repetitive stooping, bending and kneeling motions. Must be available to work weekends and holidays when needed. Strong organizational and make‑ready skills.

Must submit to a background check and drug testing.
