This role is 25–30 hours per week at a minimum, with late afternoon/evening hours preferred.

The purpose of this position is to create an exceptional environment for everyone by coordinating efforts relating to the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facilities.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, common areas and office spaces.
• Cleaning bathrooms, breakroom, kitchenette, waiting areas and other meeting spaces.
• Empty garbage containers, cardboard recycling.
• Washing interior windows and dusting when necessary.
• Maintain building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Grounds keeping duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
