Maintenance Custodian

We are actively seeking a Maintenance Custodian for a temp-to-perm position located in Dedham, MA
. This role will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance across all Ali Med facilities.

• Ensure cleanliness of Ali Med buildings.
• Maintain office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms and common areas.
• Assist and perform semi-skilled tasks related to maintenance, repair and construction in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
• Perform general grounds keeping as needed including snow and ice removal with shovels, snow blowers and a snowplow equipped vehicle during winter season.
• Prepare requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning.
• Complete other maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Perform essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
