As a Workshop Mechanic
, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. Your mission is to support Atlas Copco Rental North America's growth strategy as a leader in the Oil Free air rental business in North America. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor
.

• Maintain the fleet in the shop.
• Change oil, oil filters, and air filters on equipment returning from rent.
• Wash equipment returning from rent.
• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment.
• Repair down equipment in the shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software.

• 2–3 years of experience as an industrial related service field mechanic.
• Appropriate electromechanical degree or training.
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Expected to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature, walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Good command of English; knowledge of a second language is a bonus.
