Maintenance Specialist - Manufacturing Environment

, we don’t just maintain buildings, we support the environments where innovation happens. From libraries to schools, our products help shape learning spaces across the country. Now, we’re looking for a skilled, hands‑on Maintenance Specialist to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

This is not your average maintenance role. You’ll be the go‑to expert keeping both our facility and manufacturing equipment in top shape.

Duties include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and root cause analysis on production issues
• Handle facility upkeep: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and more
• Complete interior repairs (drywall, flooring, fixtures) and support building aesthetics
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee third‑party contractors
• Maintain inspection records (fire, sprinkler, safety compliance)
• Support snow removal and exterior maintenance during winter months
• Play an active role in safety initiatives and OSHA compliance

Qualified candidates will have:

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environments
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and general facility systems
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues
• A Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently and jump in wherever needed
• A Valid driver’s license
• Ability to be standing / walking throughout your shift and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort in working in varying conditions (including heights and outdoor elements during all seasons)
• OSHA 10 hour certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations
• Forklift or equipment operation experience (or willingness to learn)
