- You will work independently on delegated tasks under the direction of the Shop Manager.
- You will perform basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery; receiving and shipping of materials; maintain orderly storage of materials and inventory levels.
- You will perform fabrication on pipe for the field.
- You will communicate regularly with field and office employees on projects.
- You will make deliveries to jobsites throughout the Madison regional area.
- You will be responsible for coordination of work flow, delegation and task completions during Shop Manager's absence.
- Qualified candidates should have prior experience working in a shop environment, be comfortable driving a forklift and be mechanically inclined.
- You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and be able to successfully pass a Department of Transportation Driver Medical exam.
- Candidate will be regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Computer knowledge and strong multi-tasking skills.
