Ready to lead maintenance at one of the most modern packaging facilities in the region? As Maintenance Manager, you will run a skilled team, drive Total Productive Maintenance across a highly automated site, and help shape how this brand new facility operates for years to come. This role is a great fit for an experienced, hands on maintenance leader who wants real ownership and a direct line to plant leadership.

This is one of the largest manufacturers in the country and recognized as the number one sugar confectioner in the U.S. The DeKalb, IL facility is a large, highly automated packaging center that opened recently, running some of the newest equipment in the network, including robotics on the packaging lines.

You will step into this role alongside the current maintenance manager, who is training up a replacement before moving to help launch a brand new site, so you get real overlap and mentorship instead of a cold start.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, a maintenance planner, and an MRO buyer
• Drive Total Productive Maintenance initiatives, with a focus on planned maintenance and autonomous maintenance
• Partner daily with production, quality, sanitation, and warehouse teams to keep equipment running and improve uptime
• Manage the repair and maintenance budget and prioritize improvement projects
• Champion a safety first culture across the maintenance department

Schedule :
Monday-Friday, day shift.

• The maintenance department overall runs 3 shifts, so flexibility to support the broader team is expected.

Compensation : $,000, based on experience (bonus eligible)

Maintenance Manager Qualifications :

• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment required
• Hands on experience with planned and preventive maintenance required, with familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strongly preferred
• Experience in food or CPG manufacturing highly preferred but not required
