Grand Villa of Deland is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team and help maintain the beauty and functionality of our exceptional property in Deland, Florida. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming community environment while ensuring our facilities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Assist with landscaping, groundskeeping, and outdoor maintenance tasks to preserve the property's aesthetic appeal.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or a related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
