Description

• Maintain irrigation systems.
• Maintains daily logs and records.
• Checks all equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs minor laboratory work.
• May operate equipment on occasion, such as tractor, trucks, pumps, and machinery.
• Answers telephone calls and dispatches emergency crew.
• Monitors and operates computers for alarms and proper operation of wells, water, and wastewater plants.
• Able to perform shift work as assigned. The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. • Knowledge of use of simple hand and power tools.
• Ability to learn streets and facility locations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by the work.
• Ability to fill out reports and work orders with good penmanship.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to work independently in a diligent manner.
