We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support general facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, scrap handling, and janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Perform general maintenance and facility upkeep. Clean plant and office areas, including floors, bathrooms, and garbage collection. Sort, handle, load, and unload metal scrap and maintain required documentation. Operate and maintain chip spinner, forklift, and manual lift. Perform filter changes on HVAC systems, air compressors, machines, and Smog Hogs. Change and maintain machine coolant, including checking concentration levels. Use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Job Requirements:
Basic mechanical aptitude and hand tool knowledge. Ability to read and understand written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints in English. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Safety- and quality-conscious with strong attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and controls.
