Job summary:
to assist in grounds maintenance for the school district.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* maintain inventory of tools
* some knowledge of landscaping.
* executing of site plans.
* maintaining school site/district grounds.
* knowledge of pruning, trimming, weed eating, etc.
* operating and maintaining equipment.
* execute and design a maintenance program according to the seasonal requirements.
* will perform duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* complete the application on file.
Education and experience:
* experience in general grounds maintenance.
Language skills:
* ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
* ability to speak effectively before groups of people.
Mathematical skills:
* ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning ability:
* ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, licenses, registrations:
* valid new mexico drivers license.
