job summary:to assist in grounds maintenance for the school district.

essential duties and responsibilities:

• maintain inventory of tools
• some knowledge of landscaping.
• executing of site plans.
• maintaining school site/district grounds.
• knowledge of pruning, trimming, weed eating, etc.
• operating and maintaining equipment.
• execute and design a maintenance program according to the seasonal requirements.
• will perform duties as assigned.

qualifications:

• complete the application on file.

education and experience:

• experience in general grounds maintenance.

language skills:

• ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
• ability to speak effectively before groups of people.

mathematical skills:

• ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

reasoning ability:

• ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form.
• ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

certificates, licenses, registrations:

• valid new mexico drivers license.
