Location:

Denison, Iowa

Salary: $80K – 100K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Maintenance Supervisor – 1st & 2nd

Shifts:

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will supervise maintenance teams in maintaining critical equipment. Your role is essential in ensuring optimal plant operations and production efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance processes, ensuring equipment reliability, and contributing to overall performance and success of the facility.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor – 1st & 2nd

Shifts:
  • Lead maintenance teams in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs.
  • Train employees on work methods and safety procedures.
  • Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Production to schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Implement maintenance systems for optimal performance.
  • Provide solutions for troubleshooting and equipment failures.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records.
Education & Experience Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor – 1st & 2nd

Shifts:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends.
  • Technical skills in various fields are beneficial.
  • Experience in resource planning in a manufacturing setting is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance systems and processes is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are preferred.
  • Organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous.
