Performs a variety of tasks involving planning, scheduling, sorting, packing and distributing materials for the District.

- Salary Range $23.00- $25.091 per hour (depending on experience) for more information on compensation for these roles.

- Packs and unpacks materials, verifying and confirming receipt of materials; operates a variety of equipment and tools (e.g. hand cart, pallet jack) as well as a variety of powered, industrial material handling equipment.
- Receives, verifies and stores equipment, materials and supplies in proper warehouse locations.
- Communicates and coordinates delivery and requested information with shipping and receiving personnel.
- Updates and organizes warehouse inventory, receipt of goods and distribution records.
- Operates, troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Prepares items and orders for delivery, pulling orders from warehouse and prioritizing load according to order of delivery following safety procedures.
- Delivers items to district locations using a district vehicle, obeying traffic laws, and following established traffic, transportation and district procedures/policies.
- Checks stock discrepancies against data processing records, reconciling and makes necessary adjustments to correct stock balances or descriptions with inventory clerk.
- Participates in annual and periodic inventory of warehouse items, cooperating with audits and inventory requirements and updating inventory (e.g., adding, deleting, obsolete inventory write-offs).
- High School Diploma and or GED required.
- One or more years of related experience handling the receipt and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies in a warehouse or parts-room environment, preferably in a large urban K-12 public school environment.
- Experience performing basic inventory control of materials, equipment and supply and formal training and/or experience in computer based inventory management system or software.
- Forklift operator certification perferred.
- Must hold and maintain a current, valid Colorado Class “C” drivers license and meet district insurability standards.
