Job Summary
Position: Custodian I (Class Code: D8B1TX
) – Day shift 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This position is open only to residents of the State of Colorado.
Responsibilities- Custodian/Housekeeping Services – Office and common area cleaning including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, multi‑surface cleaning, brass cleaning and polishing, hard‑surface floor cleaning, and recycling. Restroom cleaning including trash removal, fixtures, stocking supplies, sweeping, and mopping.
- Emergency response and other duties as assigned – Snow removal, emergency assistance (e.g., flooded floor), inventory counts, meetings, and collaboration with other trades on various projects.
At least six (6) months of experience in custodian/janitorial work.
Conditions of Employment- Shift Work: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Physical Demands:
Exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently to move objects. - A pre‑employment criminal background check will be conducted as part of the selection process.
