Mining Maintenance Planners - Fixed Plant/Mobile - Up to $130,000/year - Accommodations Provided - Denver, CO
Thiess is seeking Maintenance Planners to join their team in Denver, Colorado, supporting mining operations by planning and scheduling maintenance for both fixed plant and mobile equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in sustainable mining services, contributing to equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in mining maintenance planning and a passion for safety and continuous improvement.

- Minimum 3 years’ planning experience in fixed or mobile equipment planning, mining maintenance activities, or equivalent industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of fixed plant/mobile maintenance processing and associated maintenance processes in a surface mine operation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fixed plant equipment maintenance or mobile maintenance equipment
- Expertise in predictive and preventative maintenance techniques
- Experience with resource allocation and optimizing maintenance workforce efficiency
- Familiarity with Office 365, strong Excel and MS Project skills
- SAP software experience required
- Use of Cat SIS and other OEM parts manuals
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Authorization to work lawfully in the USA without sponsorship
- Fluency in English
- Ability to live and work at high altitudes (up to 12,000 ft.) and in extreme winter conditions
- Physical ability to perform essential duties, including walking, standing, climbing, and wearing PPE
- Training and/or experience in maintenance management and/or maintenance planning processes
- Vocational training in mechanics, engineering, or related field
