Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor, Building Maintenance
This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working alongside the Ranch Maintenance Team at Larimer County. In this temporary role, you’ll support daily maintenance operations, contribute to the upkeep of facilities and grounds, and build practical skills in a dynamic ranch environment.

What You’ll Be Doing- Perform filter changes on equipment.
- Complete repairs on small equipment.
- Paint surfaces and patch drywall as needed.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Operate a forklift in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Experience with general property and facility maintenance in a ranch or outdoor setting.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Skilled in basic carpentry, painting, and minor construction tasks.
- Experience maintaining equipment, tools, and machinery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Related experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Colorado Flaggers Certification within two (2) weeks of employment required.
- Possession of a valid driver license required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age on date of hire, required.
- Safety‑toe shoes, required.

ScheduleThe typical schedule for this position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of weekend and holiday work, as well as on‑call responsibilities. This position is expected to last for a period of 12 months or longer.
