Who We Are

With three campuses along Colorado’s Front Range, FRCC is the state’s largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities.

Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four‑year universities and FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than 5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning college credit without having to pay college tuition. And we were recently ranked as one of the “Top Online Colleges” in the country by Newsweek.

• This position is a college‑wide position. This position works four 10‑hour days per week, with Friday as a required workday. Typical days off are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; however, the Monday day off may be adjusted based on departmental needs. This position will be housed out of Westminster Campus and required to travel to the Larimer Campus (Fort Collins) 1 day per week and to Boulder County Campus (Longmont) on a as needed basis.
• Work Hours are 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.
• A company vehicle will be provided.

The Facilities department provides a safe, clean, and functional facility to enable the faculty, staff, and students of FRCC to achieve their educational goals. Provides electrical service, installation and repair for all electrical equipment that is required for the proper operation of the college’s physical plants. Maintains HVAC equipment, maintains motor control circuits, fire alarm systems, and computer automation systems. Plans out requisitions on materials for remodeling and/or service repairs and conducts preventive/controlled maintenance and repairs on all electrical equipment.

Analyze electrical equipment and circuits, including but not limited to motors, variable frequency drives (VFD’s) motor magnetic starters, lighting circuits, power distribution panels, fire alarm system, security system, door openers and emergency lighting system. Performs annual preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, i.e. thermal photographs of panels and/or equipment, tightening lugs and contact points, solves maintenance deficiencies.
