Janitor, State Set Aside - Community College of Denver - 1st Shift

Pay: $19.29/hour

Work Schedule:

Full‑time; 1st shift; 7:00am – 3:30pm

The Janitor, State Set Aside will perform assigned janitorial duties at selected Goodwill locations (CDOT Headquarters, CDOT Golden, and/or CDOT Holly Street). The role requires adherence to Goodwill’s standards and collaboration with the team.

• Collaborate with the team.
• Vacuum hard floor and/or carpet surfaces.
• Clean stairwells with a backpack vacuum.
• Mop hard floor surfaces and stairwells.
• Empty trash and clean garbage bins.
• Clean and disinfect hard surfaces.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and window ledges.
• Dust furniture.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and showers, both manually and with machinery.
• Remove trash from restrooms and clean mirrors.
• Move heavy items occasionally.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after operating hours.
• Contribute to a safe working environment for customers and employees.

• A high‑school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• One (1) year of previous custodial experience (preferred).

• Conduct oneself professionally.
