Job Description & How to Apply Below
Scott Home Inspections is hiring seasonal Property Inspectors to help document the condition of rental properties across the Denver area this summer. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for meaningful work experience and flexible hours during the summer break. No prior inspection experience or licensing is required. We will train you on everything you need to know.

What You'll Do

You'll visit rental properties, walk through each unit, and document what you observe. The job is straightforward: show up, pay attention to detail, and capture accurate, clear records of each property's condition.

Day to day, you can expect to:
  • Conduct visual walkthroughs of residential rental properties
  • Photograph the interior and exterior of each property, including walls, floors, ceilings, appliances, fixtures, and any areas of concern
  • Complete standardized condition reports for each unit
  • Note any visible damage, wear, or maintenance issues
  • Organize and submit photos and reports at the end of each workday
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation to get to properties across the Denver metro area
  • A smartphone capable of taking clear, high-quality photos
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • A professional and respectful attitude when visiting occupied properties
  • Ability to be on your feet and moving throughout the day
What You Don't Need

No Home Inspector license, certification, or prior inspection experience is required. If you're organized, observant, and dependable, you're the kind of person we want on the team.

Pay and Schedule
  • Position runs from July 6 through August 16 (approximately 4 to 6 weeks)
  • Part-time and full-time hours available
  • Competitive hourly pay (details provided during the interview)
