Our client provides quality HVAC and plumbing maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement to a broad range of industrial and commercial customers in the Denver area and beyond.
We are looking for a Commercial Maintenance Specialist to develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial service agreement customers. This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, selling, and managing HVAC and plumbing maintenance solutions.
Responsibilities:- Prospect, research, and qualify potential commercial customers through existing client base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor research.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and present HVAC and plumbing maintenance solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, answer technical questions, and secure service agreements.
- Utilize service maintenance estimating software to develop accurate and competitive maintenance proposals.
- Build customer relationships through effective discovery of needs, budgets, timelines, and decision‑making processes.
- Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to evaluate equipment, system conditions, and service requirements.
- Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure high‑quality execution of maintenance agreements.
- Monitor labor hours, materials, and subcontractor usage to ensure profitability.
- Travel to customer sites to support relationship management, sales efforts, and project coordination (up to 50%)
- Ability to understand HVAC and plumbing systems and commercial mechanical operations.
- College degree or equivalent combination of technical trade education and industry experience.
- Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing service sales or account management.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, including prospecting, cold calling, and relationship development.
- Strong understanding of building mechanical systems, facility management budgeting, and customer operational needs.
