St Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish exists to bring people to a life changing encounter with Jesus, in whom we have abundant life.

We are seeking a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) Custodian to handle all necessary cleaning duties for the school and parish. This is a non-benefited position. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and community groups. This position may supervise volunteers and community service participants.

• Stock all paper products and soap dispensers in all Church restrooms
• Maintain Church restrooms (clean and mop floors)
• Trash removal
• Prepare Monsignor Jones Center for events such as Funeral receptions, Alpha, etc.; tables and chairs set in place and room ready for the event
• Monsignor Jones Center should be clear of trash, swept, and mopped prior to the event and after the event
• Clean restrooms of the school on Monday during the Religious Education school year (September to May before 8:00 am)
• Maintain all Monsignor Jones Center rooms, closets and the kitchen providing a safe environment free of debris and unused items
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Performs other duties as assigned by the pastor or Parish Operations Manager

• Previous custodial work experience preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and take initiative to complete various tasks
• Available on call only for emergencies
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion
• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
• Practicing Catholic preferred. Must refrain from promotion or approval of any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to the parish or the Archdiocese of Denver, or be considered in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.
