Under general supervision, this position maintains the day-to-day operations and is responsible for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Property Manager.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Complete all maintenance requests issued in a timely manner
  • Ensure vacant suites are made ready per Boxer Standards
  • Work within budget limits established
  • Maintain building inventory for cost effective operations
  • Schedule and complete the Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
  • Responsible for 24‑Hour emergency maintenance call outs; carry mobile phone/radio as required for on‑call Maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems
  • Complete grounds work, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curbs, and maintain areas around the dumpster
  • Ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Knowledge in a variety of trade areas common to the field of building maintenance
  • Knowledge of the use and operation of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Ability to climb and work on scaffolds and ladders
  • Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with customers
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal) and follow‑up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
  • Ability to work independently, self‑starter, energetic
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever‑changing work environment
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ years of related general building repair and maintenance, must be within commercial or residential real estate
  • Previous supervisory experience required
Additional Requirements
  • Technical training and license preferred
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment screening
  • Employee must have reliable transportation to and from work each day
