This role is classified as part time non-exempt and eligible to work up to 25 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $19.29

The porter performs routine maintenance duties as well as grounds keeping duties. The position provides general site support to greet and help DHA residents and staff. This position ensures common areas are clean, welcoming, and functional in accordance ti DHA standards.

• General trash collection and removal
• Vacuum hallways and common areas
• Clean windows as needed
• Janitorial duties as needed
• Maintain supply inventory under the guidance of supervisor
• Refers resident requests, concerns and maintenance issues to the appropriate staff while providing excellent customer service to residents
• Regularly maintains tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safely stores tools and equipment when not in use to maintain organization and readiness.
• Actively assists fellow technical maintenance staff in carrying out assigned tasks, fostering a cooperative and efficient work environment
• Ability to perform physical and mental aspects of the position with special accommodation when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Previous knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver license and an acceptable driving record.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a variety of small tools, power tools, and measuring devices, ensuring precision and efficiency in technical tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Exposure to housekeeping/cleaning agents/chemicals.
• Subject to injury from moving parts of equipment.
• Frequent exposure to all weather conditions.
