Salary/Hourly Rate: $29.30.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on facility maintenance tasks at the Denver TOC facility (26805 E 68th Ave, Denver, CO 80249).
  • Coordinate, schedule, and implement facility maintenance activities including painting, minor electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, furniture moves, repairs, and selected preventative maintenance tasks related to air filtration, fire safety systems, and entryways.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, track service calls, and report findings to the Project Manager.
  • Report all elevator, security, and fire alarm system malfunctions to the Project Manager/COR promptly.
  • Manage direct report staff, coordinate coverage schedules, and respond to emergency service requests related to facility maintenance.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections, track data and responses, and manage mandatory maintenance inspections.
  • Schedule, keep records of, and manage subcontracted work and work order requests.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Manager and contract point of contact regarding scheduling of disruptive work.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
  • IFMA Certification preferred.
  • 3 years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpet installation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of fire safety systems and facility security systems.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands

The role requires standing, reaching with hands and arms, hearing, and speaking on a regular basis. Occasionally the employee must walk, sit, and lift or move supplies up to 50 lbs. Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment is generally quiet with typical construction and maintenance noise. The employee works near mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utility systems, and must be comfortable working in indoor facilities.
