ResponsibilitiesThe Janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition factory working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, commercial or other establishment. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Primary Duties
- Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
- At least one (1) year custodial experience.
- Ability to understand and follow direction.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them.
- Must have good oral/verbal communication skills.

Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
