Seasonal Housekeeper (May - September)

Denver Country Club is recognized as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country. The club hosts an 18 hole golf course, two indoor golf simulators, indoor and outdoor tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, casual and fine dining. The club has a long history of golf championships.

Performs basic and heavy cleaning operations in clubhouse, and all other buildings on property.

Essential duties and responsibilities include dusting rooms and furniture, cleaning bathrooms as trained, vacuuming carpets and mopping floors, sweeping patio areas and dusting patio furniture, emptying wastebaskets and trash receptacles, cleaning and polishing brass and other metal surfaces, washing inside and outside of windows as needed, reporting dirty carpet areas to supervisor for carpet cleaning, replacing light bulbs, paper supplies, amenities as needed, reporting any damage, plumbing problems, etc.,

to maintenance or supervisor as needed, special cleaning assignments upon request, and assisting with set-ups and turnover of rooms upon request.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities include the ability to take on direction and work independently and with a team, ability to lift to 30lbs, ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift, position can be labor intensive, must be able to pull, push, bend, reach, stand and use repeated manual movements, and must be flexible and able to work on holidays and weekends.
