A General Maintenance Engineer 2nd shift at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center will initially be responsible primarily for preventative maintenance, general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and front of the house areas. At Hyatt we pride ourselves on training and promoting from within the organization whenever possible. A successful General Maintenance Engineer who demonstrates initiative can expect to be trained to perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
Good communication and customer service skills are required. This position involves a considerable amount of walking and standing along with the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight. A minimum of one-year of consistent, large-scale building or hotel maintenance experience is preferred, but other work experience and schooling that demonstrates a mechanical, electrical or technical affinity could be considered acceptable.
This position is posted for a second shift. Shift times are typically between 3:00pm
-11:30pm, however could potentially be altered if mutually beneficial. Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

The starting rate for this position is $23.00 /hour.
