The Vacation Rental Cleaner is an on-site role based in Saugatuck, MI, responsible for preparing and maintaining rental properties to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms; dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces; and ensuring linens, towels, and toiletries are refreshed and properly stocked. The role involves resetting and staging rooms according to company guidelines, reporting maintenance issues or damages, and following checklists to ensure each property is ready for guest arrival and meets quality expectations.

The Vacation Rental Cleaner will also manage cleaning supplies, adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, and coordinate with supervisors or property managers regarding schedules and special cleaning requests.

• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to follow cleaning checklists and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Experience in housekeeping, residential cleaning, hotel or vacation rental cleaning, or related hospitality roles is preferred.
• Ability to manage time effectively, work efficiently between guest stays, and prioritize tasks to meet turnaround deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry cleaning supplies and linens, and to move between rooms and properties as needed.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures, including safe handling of chemicals and proper sanitation practices.
• Reliable transportation to the worksite in Saugatuck, MI and willingness to work a consistent schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• Professional, respectful communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience in a customer-focused environment is a plus.
