Grade 58 – $16.07 – $21.69 per hour plus local supplement if applicable. Current Lincoln County School employees will be paid per the county pay scale.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must pass drug test, background check, and TB test before starting
• Ability to work independently and supervise custodian staff ensuring building maintenance
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, write, and keep records
• Ability to perform simple calculations
• Capable of lifting 100+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently, 20+ pounds constantly
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment (floor stripper, waxer, power buffer, etc.)
• Not restricted from climbing ladders
• Knowledge of routine maintenance for buildings (bathrooms, offices, classrooms)
• Willing to clean after students in all situations
• Ability to identify cleaning needs and address with appropriate supplies

• Perform a variety of manual activities as per cleaning schedules, maintaining buildings and grounds
• Independent tasks in unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance: delivery of supplies, minor equipment repairs, report maintenance needs
• Work under varying environmental conditions, extreme temperatures, and hazards
• Ensure timely completion of assignments at schools
• Load/unload trucks, sanitize spaces and equipment, transport equipment, verify delivery orders, maintain equipment, manage fuel and fluids, perform warehouse duties, additional tasks as assigned
• Work supervised by Principal/Assistant Principal or designee; reviewed through inspections and feedback
• Maintain effective working relationship with administration, staff, and co‑workers
• Other duties as assigned
