Seasonal Gas Worker

This is a seasonal position starting in April and working through November.

Performs all work in a safe manner. Compiles with all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures. Performs all work that they are trained to do in a matter to protect themselves, their fellow employees and the public form injury.

Keeps stock of construction materials in truck or on the job as needed.

Drives vehicle to and from job and transfers required employees, materials, and equipment.

Aids and assists employees in higher classifications in connection with their duties.

Hand digs trenches and other excavations. Hand backfills and hand tamps Uses hand equipment such as tampers, paving breakers, molds. etc.

Operates utility machinery when trained.

Cleans and maintains trucks, mechanized equipment. Storage yards, regulator stations and town border stations.

When not qualified to perform a task, assists qualified employees in installing electric, gas and other utilities.

Performs restoration and clean up.

Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and safe condition.

Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Previous construction related experience is preferred.

Pipeline alcohol and drug testing.
