The Fleet Mechanic / Oil & Lube Technician is responsible for keeping all vehicles in the fleet roadworthy and ready for service when needed.

• Performs preventive maintenance and repair work on Heavy Duty Fleet equipment. (Semi trucks and trailers).
• Reviews driver vehicle inspection reports. DVIR
• Responsible for being familiar with and observing all company safety rules and regulations; recognizes that safety is top company priority; attends regularly scheduled safety meetings.
• Need to have good understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Sweeps, cleans, organizes shop using 5S principles.
• Maybe required to answer roadside calls for disabled vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 yrs exp on Heavy Duty Semi Trucks or Heavy Duty Semi Trailers.
  • Brakes, wheel seals, S Cams, Slack Adjusters. Grease and Oil Changes.
• Minimum 2 years electrical trouble shooting
• Must have own tools
• 1 year welding/metal fabrication.
• Must pass MVR and Background Check

• CDL A or B
• Excellent work attendance history.

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to sit for extended periods.
• Occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

• Job functions will be carried out inside and outside of shop in ALL weather conditions. Requires tolerance for wet/rainy conditions, high heat and cold temperatures.
