SummaryBluberi gaming is seeking a Field Services Technician. The Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Bluberi gaming equipment as part of our Field Service team.
Essential Functions Customer Communications- Deliver the highest level of customer experience through effective communications and professional service interactions with Bluberi customers.
- Maintain contact with the customer on a regular basis while performing work on their machines, including follow-up after work is completed.
- Install, setup, maintain and reconfigure gaming products.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to the failing replaceable unit (FRU) and restore equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjustments of the malfunctioning component.
- Order replacement parts and supplies. Manage parts return to disposition location using appropriate packing materials and shipping services.
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance services to promote continuous operation of Bluberi equipment.
- Complete required daily paperwork, including Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports and post-installation documentation.
- Transport, install, and maintain Bluberi gaming equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized manner.
- Manage a remote warehouse of repair components and engage in monthly, quarterly and annual cycle counts and physical inventory requests. Execute all necessary paperwork for part transfers, orders and usage.
- Long periods of driving between job sites with frequent overnight stays.
- Perform floor walk-throughs on site to observe Bluberi games and ensure they are fully functional; take corrective actions as needed.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Respond to dispatches and travel to customer locations within a specified area to repair gaming equipment and communication devices.
- Work with scheduling to understand upcoming customer equipment activities and manage travel requirements to support these events.
- Communicate effectively with Bluberi scheduling and dispatch; report activity, times, problems, details and resolutions in the Service Management application.
- Provide feedback to Product Management and Sales on field activities.
- Attend weekly Field Service meetings to improve service capabilities.
- Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a courteous and professional manner, including problem resolution and decision making.
- Basic problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods.
- Dexterity when working with tools and moving parts and electrical current.
- Work at heights and in close quarters; may be exposed to inclement weather.
- Ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, lie prone, and perform required movements.
- Ability to use common hand tools (screwdrivers, nut drivers, wrenches, hammers, center punches, drills, multimeters).
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and technical manuals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain CDL if necessary.
- Basic written and verbal English communication skills; strong customer service skills including listening and empathy.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Technical or IT-related training or education is a plus.
- 4+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience. Degree or certification in gaming-related field highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the casino gaming industry is a strong plus.
