Alvest Equipment Services is seeking experienced GSE Mechanics to join their team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of airport ground support equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, leadership skills, and a passion for troubleshooting complex equipment issues in a dynamic environment.

• $25.00 to $32.00 per hour

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; technical degree a plus
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot heavy equipment
• Shop floor experience and ability to manage work schedules
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint)
• 5S or equivalent floor organization experience
• ERP experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and speak English
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• No travel restrictions

• Med/Heavy Truck Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
• Universal HVAC certification preferred
