Maintenance Helper

The Wittern Group is seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level learned position that provides on-the-job training to our employees. This role is perfect for those with interest in skilled-trade careers or individuals looking to start their career in Building Maintenance or relating fields. As our Maintenance Helper you will learn how to preform the following duties under supervision of the Maintenance Manager:

• Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions
• Attends to minor machine repair, change lights, fill LP tanks, lubricate equipment, make equipment inspection and various building maintenance tasks
• Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor
• Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
• Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
• Follow all company rules and policies
