General Accountant​/Accounting Specialist

Step into a hands-on accounting role where you’ll own key payroll and accounting responsibilities for a close-knit, mid-sized organization. You’ll work closely with a leader who’s done this job and can help you ramp up quickly, while still giving you real ownership and variety across accounting + payroll.

• Own end-to-end, multi-state payroll for a diverse employee population
• Be a trusted financial partner to plant and operational leadership

Salary range: $70,000–$85,000 plus bonus

• Process weekly multi-state payroll, including bonuses, garnishments, and special payouts
• Maintain payroll system accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Post daily banking activity and support cash management in SAP
• Review, audit, and approve employee expense reports
• Perform daily product cost roll-ups and KPI maintenance
• Support month-end analysis and backup AP activities

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Accounting Degree required.
• Comfortable processing payroll for both salaried and hourly employees
• Strong working knowledge of wage/hour and payroll tax regulations
• Experience working in SAP and ADP Workforce Now
• Detail-obsessed with a knack for problem-solving
• You thrive working in small to medium-sized company.
