Job Title: Billing Specialist
Location: Des Plaines, IL (Hybrid)
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 + Bonus

Are you an experienced billing professional looking to join a dynamic team in Des Plaines? We are seeking a Billing Specialist to manage high-volume billing, support customer needs, and ensure accuracy across multiple divisions. This is a hybrid role with a collaborative office environment and the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

• Serve as a dedicated Billing Specialist, generating and processing invoices for shipments using a custom ERP system.
• Review shipment documentation to ensure all billing details, pricing, and terms are accurate.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support smooth billing operations.
• Maintain organized records and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and billing status.
• Contribute to process improvements and develop best practices for billing efficiency.

• 5–7 years of billing experience; strong candidates without a degree are considered.
• 4+ years of experience with manufacturing accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
