Addison Group has partnered with a publicly traded, global manufacturing company in search of a Senior Accountant.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of key accounting areas, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and serve as a technical resource within the team. This role requires strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead preparation and review of complex journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly and quarterly close process
- Analyze and interpret financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Create accurate financial reports and statements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure they follow accounting rules
- Handle accounting for fixed assets, costs, and intercompany transactions
- Work with other teams to gather and verify financial information
- Support audits by preparing necessary documents
- Help maintain internal controls and compliance with regulations
- Look for ways to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams on accounting issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CPA (or CPA-eligible) preferred
- Experience in public accounting and/or large corporate environments preferred
- Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems a plus

- $95,000 – $110,000 base salary range
