Senior Accountant

Addison Group is partnering with a publicly traded, global manufacturing company to identify a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their technical accounting experience within a large, complex organization. You'll play a key role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-functional initiatives while partnering with finance and operations leaders across the business.

Location: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote)

• Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights
• Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain general ledger integrity
• Manage accounting for fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other key balance sheet accounts
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency
• Support special projects and other corporate accounting initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Public accounting and/or large corporate accounting experience preferred
• Experience with large ERP systems is a plus
