Position: Administrative Legal Support

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to build professional office experience? Elliott & Associates is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with document management, office operations, and administrative support in a fast-paced legal environment.

This 12-month contract position (30-35 hours per week) is ideal for someone seeking a temporary role with consistent hours, recent graduates looking to gain experience, or individuals interested in exploring the legal profession. You'll work closely with attorneys and staff while developing valuable administrative and organizational skills in a collaborative office setting.

Compensation:

$18 - $19 hourly

Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 0–2 years of experience in a legal or office setting preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for in-person document filing and pickups at local government offices
  • Strong work ethic, reliabilty, and eagerness to learn
  • Position is onsite in Des Plaines, IL
Responsibilities
  • Scan, copy, print, organize, and file legal documents
  • Generate templated documents and assist with mailings and correspondence
  • Enter and maintain information in our case management system
  • Prepare and organize appeal documents and electronic case files
  • Pick up, deliver, file, and retrieve documents at local government offices as needed
  • Assist with office operations, including supply runs and facility-related projects
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned
