Position: National Sales Manager – Employer

USDTL is a global leader in forensic toxicology testing of drug and alcohol exposed newborns and mothers, as well as other at-risk populations. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
  • The National Sales Manager – Employer is responsible for acquiring, developing, and expanding national and regional employer accounts operating across multiple states and industry sectors.
  • This position emphasizes long‑term strategic growth, employer program adoption, retention, and sustained revenue performance.
  • The role requires building enterprise‑level relationships, driving new national employer business, and ensuring successful implementation of USDTL’s drug testing and workplace screening services.
  • Drive national employer sales growth by acquiring new enterprise‑level employer accounts.
  • Meet annual new business requirements as assigned for the fiscal year.
  • Manage the full national employer sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding.
  • Develop a strong pipeline to support long‑term sales cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to expand national employer accounts and increase adoption of USDTL programs.
  • Establish and maintain long‑lasting executive‑level relationships with employer stakeholders.
  • Support new employer accounts during onboarding and transition to account management teams.
  • Conduct webinars, virtual presentations, and in‑person visits as needed.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to document activities and track account progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for complex cases or high‑touch service needs.
  • Travel nationwide for conferences, employer meetings, and industry events.
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Prior supervisor or leadership experience
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Microsoft Office skills (intermediate to advanced Excel skills)
  • Must have professional level English proficiency - written and oral
  • Experience using a CRM
  • The candidate must possess a professional image
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships, strong planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and passport. A motor vehicle record in good standing
  • Must be able to travel nationwide and internationally to conferences on an as needed basis
  • Must be able to setup and work exhibit booths for conferences that occasionally extend throughout the weekend
  • Must be able to execute back-to-back conferences that may require multiple weeks on the road during busy seasons
  • Must be able to secure and execute travel and lodging plans for hotel, air, rental car, shared ride, and taxi using personal credit card for reimbursement
  • Prior experience within the drug testing, toxicology, or workplace screening industry is strongly preferred.
