About this roleThe Construction Site Manager will assist in supporting field activities associated with the successful installation of mechanical system upgrades. As a Construction Manager at NORESCO, you will interact with customers as well as other NORESCO staff. You will represent NORESCO at customer sites. At NORESCO, teamwork is essential as every person on our team plays a vital role in the successful completion of every project we do.
Key Responsibilities- Work with existing project team and support various scopes of work associated with the project
- Interface and coordinate with customers and managing subcontractors to ensure quality control and adherence to schedule
- Prepare daily construction reports and monitor status to ensure the project adheres to the project schedule and expectations
- Provide all necessary input to the project to ensure accurate record keeping
- Ensure that all field work is undertaken safely and in compliance with safety plans for both NORESCO and the customer
- Coordinate on-site activities with client and subcontractors
- Trouble-shoot and resolve project-related issues as they arise while working with the Project Manager, Engineers, Owner and Subcontractor to come up with options
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year of experience with mechanical systems, electrical or lighting construction projects or facility management projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
- Willing to travel 75% during work week some local project day travel and some overnight regional site travel
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with commissioning mechanical and DDC systems
- Proven track record of success in partnering with customers, meeting project schedules and having oversight of subcontractors
