The Missner Group is a third-generation, family-owned developer and general contractor with over 80 years building across Chicagoland.

We're looking for a Senior Superintendent to run day-to-day, on-site operations for our commercial construction projects — someone who keeps a job site safe, on schedule, and on budget without losing sight of the details.

• Own daily on-site operations from open to close, keeping work safe, on schedule, and within budget
• Lead and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Build and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules, working closely with the Project Manager to keep the master schedule on track
• Run safety orientations, weekly safety meetings, and routine inspections; enforce OSHA compliance
• Monitor quality against project specs and client expectations
• Manage material and equipment logistics, proactively solving for shortages or delays
• Keep project documentation — daily logs, photos, field reports — accurate and current
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and permits
• Run final punch-list walkthroughs and project closeout
• Mentor assistant and new-hire superintendents on TMG’s systems and methodology

• 10+ years of construction/engineering experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Multifamily construction experience required
• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Teams, and Procore
• Strong safety record and a genuine commitment to quality
• Ability to be on your feet on active job sites in all conditions — this is a 100% field role
