Customer Service / Order Management Representative

LHH is seeking a Customer Service / Order Management Representative to support our clients' customers and internal teams by managing orders, providing exceptional service, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with manufacturing industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, order status, shipments, and invoicing
• Enter and maintain order details, shipping requirements, and customer information within the ERP system
• Monitor open and delayed orders and proactively communicate updates and solutions
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve customer issues
• Perform order and contract reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Review manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify order accuracy
• Manage returns, exchanges, and warranty claims while supporting corrective action processes
• Assist Finance with invoice discrepancy resolution and collection activities
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Deliver professional, responsive customer service that strengthens customer relationships

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or related field preferred
• 5+ years of customer service, order management, or related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications is a plus

Pay/Benefits

• $50,000 - $62,000 per year depending on experience
