Role DescriptionWe are seeking an Extraordinary Project Architect for a full-time, on-site role at our Des Plaines, IL office. The Project Architect will lead and oversee all phases of design and construction projects, including conceptual design, project documentation, and construction administration. This position involves collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and team members to ensure project goals and timelines are met. The role also requires ensuring that projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, and standards while maintaining design quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications- Proficiency in architectural design, including conceptualization, planning, and execution of creative and functional building designs
- Experience in project management, including managing schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client relationship management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure the quality and accuracy of designs
- Professional architecture degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) and architectural licensure preferred
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management
