Job OverviewOakton College seeks a Part‑Time Onsite Job Coach to support neurodiverse students in an Introduction to Hospitality course. The coach will assist hotel staff and guide students during a 4‑week on‑site internship.
Essential Functions- Create a learning‑conducive environment for students.
- Assist hotel staff with student management.
- Collaborate closely with hotel GM and management.
- Illinois Paraprofessional, substitute teaching, educator, or Certified Behavioral Therapist license.
- Experience with special education students.
- Enthusiasm for working with a special‑needs population.
- Willingness to learn and support the pilot program.
Training Dates:
November 17 – December 15, 2025
Location:
Residence Inn, Wilmette
Days/Times:
Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 am–12:30 pm
Pay: $25/hr.
