Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a middle school Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Algonquin Middle School for the remainder of the school year.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator Licence with appropriate endorsement. 3. ELL/ESL Endorsement is preferred.
4. Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.

District Information:

District 62 has approximately 4,900 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:

District 62 substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if the hold a substitute license. After forty days in the same role, the rate is $254.07 per day retroactive to the first day.

Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked. This position does not inlcude benefits.
